Job Title: Application Support Specialist

Location: Client Site / Remote (as applicable)

Role Overview

The Application Support Specialist is responsible for providing Level 1 and Level 2 support, maintenance, and enhancements for enterprise applications used by clients. The role ensures that business-critical systems run smoothly, issues are resolved quickly, and application performance is optimized while maintaining compliance with client-specific processes and SLAs.

This position is particularly relevant for healthcare, manufacturing, and packaging domains where uptime, accuracy, and security are critical.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Application Monitoring & Maintenance
  • Monitor application performance, availability, and integration points.
  • Identify and resolve incidents, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Perform regular health checks and system log reviews.
  1. Incident & Service Request Management
  • Respond to and resolve application-related incidents within SLA timelines.
  • Manage service requests, including user access provisioning, configuration changes, and data corrections.
  • Document issues, resolutions, and knowledge articles in the ticketing system (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.).
  1. User Support & Training
  • Provide functional support to end-users for day-to-day application usage.
  • Guide users through application workflows and troubleshooting steps.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new users.
  1. Configuration & Minor Enhancements
  • Perform minor configuration updates and parameter changes as per business needs.
  • Support release management and assist with testing during upgrades or patch deployments.
  • Coordinate with development teams for bug fixes and enhancements.
  1. Compliance & Security
  • Maintain data integrity and follow application security protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations (HIPAA for healthcare, ISO standards for manufacturing/packaging).
  • Participate in periodic audits and provide necessary reports.

  • Work closely with client IT teams, business users, and vendor support teams.
  • Escalate critical issues to L3/Development teams and follow through until resolution.
  • Provide status updates and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) reports for major incidents.
Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in supporting enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, HIS, MES, or custom-built apps).
  • Familiarity with SQL for basic data queries and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of application servers, APIs, and integrations.
  • Knowledge of cloud-hosted applications (Azure, AWS, SaaS platforms).

Domain Knowledge

  • Healthcare: EMR/EHR systems, PACS, LIS, HIS workflows.
  • Manufacturing/Packaging: MES, ERP, shop-floor integration systems.

Role Overview

The Infrastructure Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing IT infrastructure solutions for clients in the healthcare and packaging domains. The role involves assessing existing systems, identifying gaps, recommending best-fit technologies, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and enabling secure, high-performance, and scalable infrastructure to support critical business applications.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Infrastructure Planning & Design
  • Assess current IT landscape, identify gaps, and design infrastructure solutions that align with business needs.
  • Recommend technology upgrades, migrations, and cloud adoption strategies for improved performance and scalability.
  • Design and implement disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity plans.
  1. Healthcare Domain Focus
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare IT regulations (HIPAA, NABH, HL7, GDPR where applicable).
  • Design secure environments for EMR/EHR systems, PACS imaging solutions, telemedicine platforms, and hospital management systems.
  • Implement secure data storage, backup, and retrieval processes for sensitive patient records.
  1. Packaging Industry Focus
  • Plan and optimize IT infrastructure for manufacturing facilities, including shop-floor automation, IoT integration, and production planning systems.
  • Support ERP/MES platforms with reliable compute, storage, and network solutions.
  • Enable secure connectivity between manufacturing sites, warehouses, and corporate offices.
  1. Implementation & Support
  • Lead infrastructure deployment projects (servers, storage, virtualization, network, security).
  • Coordinate with application and security teams for end-to-end solution delivery.
  • Provide technical oversight during migrations, upgrades, and system integrations.
  1. Security & Compliance
  • Implement and maintain firewalls, endpoint security, and access control mechanisms.
  • Conduct regular infrastructure security audits and vulnerability assessments.

  • Strong knowledge of server, storage, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and hybrid cloud setups.
  • Backup & DR tools (Veeam, Commvault, Rubrik, etc.).
